Great Bridge

Was a lovely thriving market town, it boasted two railway stations and a street Market in the centre of the high Street and then along came a Plan ? 

Move the market, so they did up a side street,  Stalls closed shoppers disappeared

so off to Plan 2 

 This was the car park for the Indoor Market

Then almost 5 years ago  Sandwell Labour Council Closed it

We Need the Land they said?

Trade Dropped a major D.I.Y shop closed

a range of smaller shops also closed 

The only thing to change over the years is the weeds have grown higher.

The new Council open door Market was duly built with a Car park and 100yds down the road the private indoor market lost its Car park 

Now Labour talk of introducing PARKING CHARGES  to Great Bridge

Stafford & Cannock Hospitals

Yes I know these Hospitals are well outside Sandwell but after the dogs dinner of a mess Labour left them in, we do give them our support and hope they keep them fully open.

So Sandwell's child protection is found to be inadequate yet again year after year we have promise after promise of improvements yet Sandwell has had more children's managers than a foot ball team. we now have 

poor roads 
poor schools but improving 
Bulldozed  houses
Bulldozed schools
Inadequate child protection 
Dead high streets 
High Parking charges

Parking Mess

Following Sandwell Labour's recent massive rejuvenation success, with West Bromwich appearing on national TV, having the most empty shops in the UK

Labour now turn their business skills to Sandwell's smaller towns.

Cradley Heath, Old Hill, Smethwick and Great Bridge.

Labour has decided to help local small businesses, by Taxing customers to shop,  (Parking Charges)

Congratulations Labour, your test run on parking charges in West Bromwich proved so successful, with big names shops just leaving or threatening to move out with loads of shops closed, now you've had the cheek to roll out this charge around the borough.

Labour look at a map of Sandwell, other boroughs are Lowering charges NOT increasing them.
